Starting in January of 2022, we were led to sell a part of our farm. That part, built in 2004 and at the time fit our farming goals, was a commercial broiler farm. In selling that part of the farm and a few acres, we also sold our home and orchard that was very closely located to this farm. This took the better part of 2022; the selling and the moving.
In this season of change and chaos, we decided we would not milk the cows this year. We also took a break from the gardens and orchards. We are currently living in a tiny house on our property and are building another home, with space for tremendous orchards, gardens, grandkids and views!! We are very excited about all the changes even as change is hard.
